Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of Technical School.
• Must have in-depth knowledge of NAVSEA and MSC standard items; ability to interpret blueprint and technical documentation.

Responsibilities

• Supervises Shipfitting Department personnel and maximizes efficiency and productivity.
• Coordinates with Director of Production, superintendents and subcontractors to align work schedules.
• Maintains machinery/equipment for efficient production and identifies improvements.
• Assists estimating department in developing cost estimates through ship checks.
