Qualifications

• Must be 18+ and legally eligible to work in the U.S.
• Climb ladders and work at extreme heights.
• Work in small, tight or confined spaces.
• Lift heavy objects weighing 40 lbs or more.
• Work in all weather conditions year-round.
• Take and pass a respirator fit test.
• Be able to work shifts as production needs.
• Be able to take measurements or be willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret blueprints to place, maneuver and weld steel structures.
• Measure, cut, grind, fit, align and tack weld parts from small to large sub-assemblies.
• Build in-place interior structures, hatches and bulkheads to complete ship steel work.
• Work across various shipyard locations including shops, dry-docks and onboard ships.
