Job summary

Mock Plumbing & Mechanical is seeking an experienced Sheet Metal Superintendent to oversee commercial mechanical construction projects. This hands-on leadership role manages sheet metal operations, coordinates with project teams, and ensures safety, quality, and on-time delivery.

You will lead field crews, review drawings, manage costs, and mentor staff while maintaining OSHA compliance and a zero-incident safety culture. Competitive pay and growth opportunities offered.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of experience in commercial mechanical construction.
• Experience as a superintendent or field leadership.
• Ability to read construction drawings and shop drawings.
• OSHA 30-Hour certification or ability to obtain.
• HVAC and sheet metal knowledge.
• Licenses preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all aspects of the mechanical scope of work, including sheet metal, piping, plumbing, controls, and related systems.
• Coordinate daily with site superintendents, project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers.
• Lead field personnel while promoting professionalism, accountability, and teamwork.
• Maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and eliminate recognized jobsite hazards.
• Coordinate work with other trades to maintain project schedules.
• Review shop drawings, BIM models, and project submittals.
• Prepare daily and weekly reports, time sheets, and project documentation.
• Monitor job costs and assist with monthly project cost reviews.
• Coordinate material deliveries to ensure crews have the resources needed to stay productive.
