Job summary

Comfort Systems USA Shoffner in Asheville, NC is seeking a Sheet Metal Foreman for a permanent, full-time role. You will lead a crew of journeymen and apprentices on commercial projects, ensuring safety, quality, and timely completion on site.

Responsibilities include reading blueprints, completing daily reports, timekeeping, material orders, and training team members. Expect outdoor work in varied environments with growth opportunities within the company.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of sheet metal installation experience.
• Prior experience leading a team is highly preferred.
• Thorough knowledge of HVAC/duct codes and best practices.

Responsibilities

• Lead a crew of Sheet Metal Journeymen and Apprentices on new Commercial Construction projects.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Complete daily reports, timekeeping, and job documentation accurately and on time.
• Assign tasks to complete projects on time and within budget; provide on-the-job training.
• Order material ahead of when it’s needed.
• Layout and install ductwork in various job settings; finish and seal duct work.
