Job summary

Continental Properties is seeking a motivated Service Technician (Multisite) for our Springs at Willowbrooke in Oakdale, MN and Springs at Lake Elmo in Lake Elmo, MN. You will address resident service needs, perform maintenance across HVAC, electrical, plumbing, and more, and report to the Service Supervisor.

Full-Time position with pay of $27.00–$29.00 per hour. Opportunity for earnings incentives and a comprehensive benefits package. Must be able to work weekends and holidays as required.

Qualifications

• Hands-on maintenance experience in facilities or trades.
• Ability to diagnose and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances.
• Strong customer service orientation and professional communication.
• Willing to work overtime and weekends as needed.

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Service Technician (Multisite) to join our team of dedicated professionals at our beautiful Springs at Willowbrooke residential apartment community in Oakdale, MN. Along with our beautiful Springs at Lake Elmo residential apartment community in Lake Elmo, MN.

You will provide above and beyond customer service and an unmatched level of personal attention to residents. You will address our resident's service needs and will help maintain facility operations. You will report to the Service Supervisor.

Position Specifics

• Full-Time
• Pay: $27.00 - $29.00 per hour
• Additional earning potential through position-specific performance incentives

Essential Responsibilities

Providing an Exceptional Resident Experience

• Take pride in the property's overall appearance by regularly walking the grounds to ensure top-notch curb appeal, while delivering outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interaction
• A team player with a 'no task is too small' mindset! Willing to roll up your sleeves and do whatever it takes to keep the community looking great and residents happy, even when the work isn't glamorous

Hands on Work

• Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more to keep our community running smoothly and making residents comfortable

Day-to-Day Maintenance & Community Operations

• Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, and stepping in for additional needs like unit touch-ups and snow removal (in applicable states)
• Our communities run on smart technology—you'll use software and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders and keep everything running efficiently

Skills For Success

• Brings hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade and is ready to hit the ground running
• Flexible and reliable with a willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays when the community needs you
• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role - bending, lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance), and comfortable using technology like computers, tablets, and phones to stay connected and get the job done
