Overview

Continental Properties is looking for a motivated and empowered Maintenance Technician to join our team at Springs at Lakeville, a residential apartment community in Lakeville, MN. You will provide exceptional resident service, address service needs, and help maintain facility operations. You will report to the Service Supervisor.

Position Details

• Employment Type: Full-Time
• Pay: $22.00 – $25.00 per hour
• Additional earning potential through position-specific performance incentives

Essential Responsibilities

• Provide an exceptional resident experience by maintaining the property’s curb appeal and delivering outstanding customer service with a courteous, professional approach in every interaction.
• Work as a team player with a "no task is too small" mindset; willing to roll up your sleeves to keep the community looking great and residents happy, even when the work isn’t glamorous.
• Diagnose and repair a wide range of maintenance needs including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, appliances, carpentry, flooring, and more to keep the community running smoothly and residents comfortable.
• Maintain the overall appearance and safety of the property by performing grounds upkeep, pressure washing, painting, trash removal, unit touch-ups, and snow removal when applicable.
• Use software and mobile apps daily to manage, track, and complete work orders and keep operations running efficiently.

Skills for Success

• Hands-on experience in maintenance, manual labor, or a related trade; ready to hit the ground running.
• Flexible and reliable with willingness to work overtime, on-call shifts, and non-traditional schedules including weekends and holidays when needed.
• Physically capable of meeting the demands of the role, including bending and lifting up to 100 lbs independently (up to 250 lbs with assistance); comfortable using computers, tablets, and phones to stay connected and get the job done.
