Job summary

WillScot, a North America leader in temporary space solutions, is seeking a Lead Service Tech in Irving, TX. You will manage Get Ready processes, plan materials and labor, and oversee refurbishment of WillScot products.

You’ll promote safety, lead daily tasks, ensure high first-time quality, and coordinate repairs across framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related trades. Required: high school diploma and 1 year of experience; ability to delegate; safety coaching; basic computer skills.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience or more required.
• Ability to delegate tasks to keep production on track.
• Able to conduct safety walks and coach others on proper safety protocols.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
• Some knowledge of computers and good communication skills.
• Carpentry knowledge and experience; electrical, plumbing, HVAC and welding experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to WillScot safety, transportation, and environmental policies.
• Lead and promote health and safety outcomes in the workplace.
• Attend safety meetings and maintain a clean, organized work area.
• Ensure trailers are ready for scheduled delivery with high first-time quality and within accuracy parameters.
• Perform repairs/modifications including framing, electrical, plumbing, painting, and related trades.
• Maintain inventory levels of tools and materials for daily tasks.
• Coordinate yard service tasks, check-in/check-out inspections, and determine repair scope.
