Job summary

Graybar is seeking a Lead Warehouse Material Handler in Renton, WA. You will direct activities in an assigned area and support the Warehouse Manager while operating pallet jacks, forklifts and push carts. You will receive, store, pack and ship inventory using our Warehouse Management System.

Starting pay is $29 per hour, with opportunities to advance. Candidates should be at least 18 years old and able to meet physical requirements including climbing ladders and lifting.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• 4+ years experience preferred.
• Experience with Warehouse Management System (WMS) is required.
• Able to perform physical tasks including lifting, climbing ladders and working in varying temperatures.
• Must pass pre-employment physical testing.

Responsibilities

• Direct the work in an assigned area and support the Warehouse Manager.
• Operate pallet jacks, forklifts, and push carts.
• Receive and store incoming material per WMS processes.
• Select, pack and palletize shipments.
• Sort and pack less-than-truckload shipments and conduct cycle counts.
• Maintain a clean warehouse and perform daily safety inspections.

Our Zone utilizes a Warehouse Management System so an understanding of technology is required to perform this job.
