Job summary

The Dinex Group LLC in Costa Mesa is seeking an attentive Server to warmly guide guests through their meals and ensure total guest satisfaction. You will hold a specific station, be on the floor to keep service smooth, and act as an ambassador for our dining experience.

Ideal candidates have at least 2 years in a fine dining setting, extensive knowledge of food and wine, and strong teamwork, communication, and time-management skills to deliver outstanding service.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for a specific station
• Be present on the floor to make sure that service runs smoothly
• Serve and clear food in cooperation with the Service Support Staff
• Communicate well with the Food Runners, Bussers and Barbacks in order to provide the correct sequence of service
• Greet all guests with enthusiasm and friendliness
• Engage the guests to create positive dining experiences
• Execute on-going, pre- and post-shift side work
• Open and close the dining room and beverage station as needed
• Be knowledgeable of the dishes on the menu and be prepared to answer any questions from the guests
