Job summary

Touchmark on West Prospect in Appleton, WI seeks an experienced Lead Dining Server to support our Dining Services team. This role blends hands-on service with team leadership to deliver a high-quality dining experience for residents and guests.

You will guide servers, uphold hospitality standards, and ensure consistent, safe service in the evenings and weekends. This part-time position offers competitive pay and the chance to lead by example in a caring, resident-focused community.

Qualifications

• Previous serving experience required; leadership or lead experience preferred.
• Strong understanding of table service and dining etiquette.
• Ability to lead, coach, and support team members in real time.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Positive attitude, professionalism, and reliability.
• Ability to work evenings and weekends consistently.
• Food Handler’s Permit (or ability to obtain within one month).

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, attentive table service to residents and guests.
• Lead by example in delivering exceptional hospitality and service.
• Guide and direct servers during service to ensure efficiency and consistency.
• Support team members in completing assigned duties and maintaining standards.
• Communicate goals, needs, and service flow throughout each shift.
• Assist with dining room setup, service execution, and closing procedures.
• Ensure adherence to sanitation, food safety, and service standards.
• Support completion of temperature logs, labeling, and cleanliness expectations.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive dining environment.
