Job summary

Currie & Brown is seeking a Lead Senior Quantity Surveyor to support a major semiconductor client in Dallas, TX. You will lead quantity surveying and commercial cost management, overseeing budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and reporting while collaborating with clients and contractors to ensure cost certainty.

You will mentor junior staff and drive commercial decisions across a large-scale, technically complex program, with senior leadership oversight and industry best practices.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Quantity Surveying, Construction Management, Engineering, or related field.
• 10+ years of quantity surveying or cost management experience on large projects.
• Experience in industrial, semiconductor, or data center projects preferred.
• MRICS/RICS certifications are preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead QS and commercial cost management across the project lifecycle.
• Oversee budgets, forecasts, cash flow, and financial reporting.
• Review estimates, payment applications, progress claims, and change orders.
• Negotiate contractor variations and manage commercial claims.
• Mentor junior QS and provide strategic cost advice.
• Ensure final accounts and project closeout are accurate.
