Job summary

The American Institute of Architecture Students seeks a Senior Project Architect/Senior Project Technical Designer to lead the technical execution on complex, medium to large architectural projects from inception through construction administration. You will own the design process, coordinate with design leadership, mentor teams, and ensure documents align with design intent, schedules and budgets.

Strong BIM skills and proficiency in REVIT, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, Newforma, and the Adobe Creative

Qualifications

Professional degree in architecture or interior design from an accredited university.
Typically eight or more years of experience in commercial interior design and/or architecture.

Responsibilities

Lead technical execution of complex medium to large projects.
Coordinate inputs from inception to completion with design and management leaders.
Direct and mentor project teams; oversee documentation and construction administration.
Ensure production of construction documents aligns with design intent and schedules.
Conduct site observations and prepare field reports.
Coordinate with trades, consultants, and jurisdictions.
Resolve complex technical/design issues and guide the team.
