Job summary

MAAC is seeking an experienced Senior Fabricator to lead and assist the fabrication team in producing high-precision machine frames and components from structural steel. The role focuses on quality, accuracy, and meeting production timelines, with responsibilities including blueprint interpretation and mentoring peers.

Position is full-time on 2nd shift (3:45pm–12:15am) in Carol Stream, IL. Expect a daily mix of fabrication (80%) and welding (20%), with overtime opportunities and pay weekly.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years of fabrication experience with various metals.
• Able to read and interpret complex blueprints.
• Proficient in MIG welding and fabrication techniques.
• Commitment to safety and OSHA requirements.

Responsibilities

• Fabrication and welding of machine frames and components.
• Lead and coordinate fabrication, welding, and assembly tasks.
• Read and interpret blueprints and drawings.
• Utilize MIG welding and fabrication tools.
• Perform measurements to ensure precision.
• Train and mentor teammates to improve skills.
