Job summary

Kelly Science & Clinical is seeking a hands-on Senior Analytical Chemist / Quality Control Manager in Olive Branch, MS. The role combines bench-top analytical work with QC leadership, ensuring compliance and efficient laboratory operations.

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor's in Chemistry with 5+ years' GMP experience and expertise in HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry, plus method development and supervisory skills. Join a team focused on quality and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemistry required; Master's preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of hands-on analytical chemistry in a GMP-regulated environment.
• Strong experience with HPLC, GC, GC-MS, FTIR, UV-Vis, and wet chemistry.
• Experience with method development, validation, transfer, and troubleshooting.
• Previous supervisory or management experience within a QC laboratory.
• Strong understanding of FDA, GMP, GLP, USP, ICH, and quality system requirements.
• Experience with LIMS and laboratory data management systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead laboratory operations while performing analytical testing in a GMP manufacturing setting.
• Develop, validate, transfer, and troubleshoot analytical methods.
• Manage day-to-day QC laboratory operations and testing programs.
• Oversee investigations, deviations, CAPAs, change controls, and quality metrics.
• Lead and mentor laboratory personnel; provide training and performance management.
• Ensure site stability program compliance with GMP/GLP/FDA/USP requirements.
• Support audit readiness and drive continuous improvement in lab operations.
• Review and approve lab documentation, protocols, SOPs, investigations, and reports.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Quality, Manufacturing, and R&D.
