Job summary

McCownGordon Construction, LLC seeks a senior professional to lead assigned self-perform scopes from startup through closeout. You will coordinate project planning, staffing, and resources, ensuring safety, quality, and productivity while managing documentation and performance metrics.

The role requires 6+ years of experience, a construction management or related degree, and proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, SharePoint, pVault, drawing management tools, and Procore.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 6+ years of demonstrated experience.
• Proven capability leading projects from start up to close out.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Bluebeam, SharePoint, pVault, and drawing management applications.
• Fundamental understanding of Procore.

Responsibilities

• Self-Perform Leadership: Lead self-perform project and field teams; set expectations for accountability, safety, quality, productivity, and professionalism.
• Coaches and develops Foremen, field leaders, and other associates; delegates and coordinates work to build team capability.
• Self-Perform Operations: Manage day-to-day execution from startup through closeout; maintain project controls and documentation.
• Preconstruction Coordination: Develop self-perform project plans aligned with strategy, schedule, and financial objectives; participate in quantity takeoffs and pricing.
• Budget and Pricing Management: Review financial performance with Senior Manager; forecast and reconcile costs; manage cost reports and recovery activities.
• Field Craft and Relationship Management: Build relationships with project teams, craft associates, suppliers, and stakeholders; ensure safety, quality, and progress.
