Job summary

Torrey Holistics in Bloomington, IL, is hiring a Packaging Supervisor to lead its seed packaging operation. You will supervise the conditioning crew, ensure legible, accurate labeling, and own product integrity, inventory, and equipment readiness for the season.

This hands-on leadership role requires attention to detail, the ability to lift up to 75 lbs, and willingness to perform preseason maintenance on bagging lines and ink-jet labeling equipment.

Qualifications

• Leadership ability — direct and teach a crew, own the packaging process end to end.
• Seed-plant, ag, packaging or production experience preferred.
• Strong attention to detail — labeling, tags, inventory counts and paperwork are critical.
• Mechanical aptitude for maintenance on bagging, conveyor, and palletizing equipment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory, paperwork, labeling systems.
• Reliable, stable work history.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise packaging crew daily within conditioning processes.
• Ensure all seed packages are labeled legibly and accurately according to customer instructions.
• Maintain accurate inventory counts and complete bagging paperwork.
• Perform preseason maintenance on bagging, conveyor, and palletizing equipment.
• Ensure a safe work environment and support safety programs.
