Job summary

Illinois Ag is seeking a Warehouse Lead & Quality Control Associate to oversee seed processing, packaging, and inventory control in our production facility.

You will work daily with the Operations & QC Manager, manage work orders, ensure seed lot integrity, supervise warehouse staff, and uphold safety standards while coordinating with quality testing and shipping teams.

Qualifications

• Experience in seed production or related field is preferred.
• Proficiency in data gathering and reporting.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Work closely with the Operations & QC Manager to manage day-to-day seed processing and handling.
• Oversee the processing of work orders to ensure accurate documentation and inventory tracking of seed lots.
• Manage plant and packaging activities for seed receiving, treating, packaging and distribution.
• Assist with seed conditioning and testing protocols; collect samples for QA purposes.
• Maintain seed lot integrity throughout storage, processing, treatment, and shipping operations.
• Supervise warehouse and treating teams and manage seasonal/part-time labor.
