Loyal Source is looking for a Lead Security Technician for an employment opportunity in Houston, Texas.

About The Role

The Lead Security Technician is crucial in ensuring the efficient installation, troubleshooting, servicing, and repair of commercial alarm, CCTV, and card access systems. This role demands independence, the ability to train and provide guidance to other technicians, and the provision of high-quality customer support. Operating primarily within the Houston Metro area, the position may require travel, including potential out-of-state assignments.

Key Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, replaces, and/or repairs malfunctioning or inoperative equipment.
• Performs new system installations, upgrades, and additions.
• Provides reliable, high-quality customer support.
• Coaches and teaches other technicians.
• Performs customer instruction on system operation and functionality.
• Conducts system testing and signal verification.
• Organizes and utilizes resources and materials efficiently.
• Monitors and ensures progress and completion of assigned tasks.
• Completes and submits necessary documentation timely.
  
  

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience.
• Mastery of commercial intrusion systems, CCTV, and access control systems.
• Texas alarm license required.
• Manufacturers certifications highly desired: Software House, LenelS2, Genetec, AMAG, etc.
• Understanding of alarm systems' function and design.
• Minimum of High School Diploma/Vocational Training.
• Knowledge of local/national codes.
• Strong communication/leadership skills.
• Valid driver’s license and clearance of drug and background screening.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents in English.
  
  

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8 AM - 5 PM

Benefits offered: Medical, dental, vision, PTO, and holidays.

Pay: $35 per hour.
