Job summary

Allied Universal Technology Services is seeking a Project Superintendent to lead low-voltage system deployments across multiple sites. You will oversee planning, resource coordination, on-site supervision, and final commissioning for access control, video surveillance, and alarm systems.

You will coordinate subcontractors, manage budgets, review drawings, and enforce safety and quality standards while maintaining strong client relationships and timely project delivery.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of three years of construction, electronic security, or utility sector experience.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics.
  • Strong leadership and relationship-building skills.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors and technicians with the Project Manager.
  • Assist in budgeting, bidding, and subcontract approvals.
  • Navigate multiple job sites and report project status to the PM.
  • Lead weekly meetings, site walks, and maintain daily activity logs.
  • Coordinate inspections, tests, and client-required verifications.
  • Maintain client relationships and uphold safety and quality standards.

Job Description

Allied Universal® Technology Services is seeking a Project Superintendent. The Project Superintendent will manage all phases of low-voltage system deployment—including access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire and integrated security solutions from planning and resource coordination to on-site supervision and final commissioning. This also includes a strong commitment to fostering team collaboration, enforcing safety protocols, and upholding the company’s reputation for excellence in security technology services.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Coordinate scheduling of subcontractors and technicians in collaboration with the Project Manager to ensure seamless project execution and adherence to timelines
  • Assist in budgeting, bidding, and award of subcontracts, while obtaining permits or approval of revisions
  • Ability to navigate between multiple job sites, ensuring all deficiencies have been identified and corrected, while updating the Project Manager on the project status
  • Responsible for weekly meetings, site-walks, escalation of issues to Project Manager, issue notices of non-compliance, maintain records and daily log of activity
  • Coordinate inspections, verifications, tests, and other contractual requirements with client.
  • Maintain strong client relationships by delivering responsive, solution-oriented customer service and ensuring operational excellence across all assigned sites
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards and safety protocols by conducting regular site inspections, enforcing compliance with regulations, and addressing deficiencies to maintain a safe and high-performing work environment

QUALIFICATIONS (MUST HAVE):

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Current driver’s license if driving a company vehicle, or personal vehicle in the course of conducting business (e.g., client visits, attending networking events)
  • Minimum of three (3) years of construction, electronic security, or utility sector experience, including installation, service, technician, or project management backgrounds
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical schematics to guide the accurate installation and integration of electronic security systems.
  • Advanced knowledge of working with MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project, and SharePoint)
  • Effective leadership skills with the ability to build strong relationships internally and externally, as well as manage delivery timeframes and meeting deadlines
  • Adheres to safety requirements and guidelines, taking appropriate action when needed, ensuring equipment and materials are used properly

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS (NICE TO HAVE):

  • Ability to manage a project scope of $1Million or larger
  • Knowledge of managing RFIs or contract requirements
  • Manufacturer certifications, pertaining to access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, fire
  • Certifications in OSHA 10/30
