Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Lead Systems Technician in San Francisco to service and install commercial security systems including burglar alarms, fire alarms, access control, and video surveillance. The role requires strong technical aptitude and superb interpersonal skills.

You will perform programming and commissioning, work with network devices, and help train junior technicians. A valid driver's license and related licenses or certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling systems experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
• 5+ years industry experience - Preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.
• Fire Alarm License - Preferred.
• ESA Certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent - Preferred.
• NICET Fire or Video Level 2 - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
• Completes servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
• Completes programming and commissioning for security, fire, access control and video surveillance systems.
• Assists with new technician training.
