Job summary

Vector Security is seeking a Lead Systems Technician to service and install commercial integrated systems including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video at our Chicago area branch. You’ll lead field work, coordinate scheduling for service jobs, and ensure installations meet local codes while delivering superior customer service.

A strong technical background, communication skills, and a valid driver's license are required; ESA/NICET certifications are a plus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of 2 years of fire detection, burglary, CCTV and access control experience.
• ESA certified Alarm Technician Level 2 or equivalent preferred.
• NICET Fire or Video Level 2 preferred.
• Valid Driver’s License required.

Responsibilities

• Completes system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
• Completes servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
• Completes routing and scheduling for commercial service jobs.
