Job summary

Vector Security in Chicago, IL is seeking a Lead Systems Technician to service and install commercial integrated systems, including Burglar and Fire Alarms, Access Control, and Video.

The role requires strong technical aptitude and excellent interpersonal skills to work with customers and team members. A valid driver’s license is required; Fire Alarm License or NICET certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of 2-years of fire detection and signaling experience (burglary, fire alarm, CCTV and access control).
• 5+ years industry experience - Preferred.

Responsibilities

• Completes system servicing and/or installations of various types of integrated systems.
• Completes servicing and/or installation of basic to advanced network devices.
• Completes routing and scheduling for commercial service jobs.
