Job summary

Opry Entertainment Group & Ryman Hospitality Properties in Austin is seeking a Lead Security to be the primary contact for the security team, directing daily staff operations at our music and entertainment venues to keep guests, artists, and staff safe and secure.

The role requires a high school diploma, 1+ year security experience, Texas Unarmed Security License, CPR/AED, and OSHA training; strong communication skills and the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in an entertainment

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• 1+ years' security or law enforcement experience in entertainment/hospitality.
• Effective interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Intermediate computer skills with Microsoft Office.
• Able to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
• State of Texas Unarmed Security License (Level II Non-Commissioned) required.
• CPR/AED certification within 90 days.
• OSHA 10-Hour General Industry training within 120 days.

Responsibilities

• Support public safety efforts and assist with conduct issues during shifts.
• Outline post assignments and duties for each officer.
• Perform safety and security duties, including maintaining order and enforcing policies.
• Ensure officers are on post and plan coverage for breaks.
• Lead pre-shift staff meetings and relay event-specific information.
• Prepare incident and accident reports in a centralized system.
• Monitor security CCTV, systems, and report hazards.
• Assist with emergencies and coordinate evacuations with responders.
• Maintain compliance with brand SOPs and company policies.
• Other duties as assigned.
