Job summary

DK Security is seeking a Lead Security Officer in Michigan to oversee site operations in a uniform, non-armed capacity. The role emphasizes supervision, client communication, and staff training while delivering reliable security services for diverse clients.

You will supervise officers, monitor site guidelines, oversee equipment, and respond to scheduling needs, with a 40-hour work week and growth opportunities in a team-focused environment.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Must be able to pass a drug screening at hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must not have felonies or certain misdemeanors per state law.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs (70 lbs for armed work) and stand/walk 8–12 hours.
• Must be CPR, First Aid, and AED certified or willing to become certified.
• Must be able to clearly see at least 20 feet and hear in loud environments.
• Must read/write/speak English fluently.
• Professionalism and excellent customer service required.

Responsibilities

• Direct, supervise, and manage subordinates in security operations.
• Oversee site training and ensure staff follow post guidelines.
• Maintain grooming standards for all security personnel and event staff.
• Communicate regularly with client contacts and update operations manager.
• Ensure equipment and uniforms are accounted for and maintained.
• Be available to handle scheduling issues and on-call questions.
