Location: US:WI:MILWAUKEE at our FROEDTERT HOSPITAL facility.

This job is ON - SITE.

FTE: 1.000000

Shift: Shift 3 (may qualify for shift differential)

Job Summary:

Providing security in/around the hospital, facilities, campus, and parking structures. Responsible for daily shift operations, oversight, and direction, including monitoring officer activities, accountability, and assignments. Providing a safe/secure environment for all patients, staff, and visitors. Perform other duties as assigned.

Experience:

A minimum of 5 years of Security experience is required. Previous supervisory experience and problem-solving skills are required.

Education:

High School diploma or equivalent required. An advanced degree is preferred, or 15+ years of experience in lieu of educational background.

Training:

Proof of recent training in Froedtert-approved DAAT (Defense And Arrest Techniques) course or ability to obtain certification within 120 days. Must complete NIMS IS-700 and ICS-100 courses within six months. FTO program completion within 120 days. Training may be site-specific.

Skills & Licensure:
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 50 lbs occasionally; push-pull force up to 100 lbs; occasional stair climbing; frequent walking; ability to get up/down from floor independently.
  • Valid WI Driver's License required.
  • American Heart Association BLS or equivalent required within 90 days.
