Securitas USA is seeking a Lead Security Officer to serve as the primary contact for officers during the assigned shift in Hillsboro, OR. The role emphasizes leadership, reliability, and attention to detail while managing daily security operations on site.

Typical duties include directing officers, coordinating staffing, briefing teams, and ensuring proper documentation and incident reporting. A strong customer service mindset and calm demeanor are essential.

Qualifications

• At least 18 years old and able to work independently.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Above average computer/technology skills.
• Excellent customer service and team leadership skills.
• Must be able to work independently and stay calm in stressful situations.
• Strong attention to detail and professional demeanor.
• Able to respond to emergencies with clear judgment and escalation.
• Pre-employment screening including drug test and background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide direction and support to on-duty security officers.
• Coordinate staffing, breaks, shift coverage, and post assignments.
• Conduct shift briefings and communicate operational updates.
• Monitor officer performance, attendance, appearance, and professionalism.
• Ensure accurate completion of daily activity and incident reports.
• Respond to incidents and escalate concerns through the chain of command.
• Support employee training and reinforce site procedures.
• Maintain professional communication with personnel, contractors, visitors, and management.
• Assist with investigations, screening failures, access-control concerns, and emergencies.
• Help maintain continuous, compliant security operations.

Wage: $26.52/HR

Schedule: Mon - Fri: 0800 - 1600

Securitas plays an essential role for our clients and in society. The Lead Security Officer serves as the primary point of contact for officers during the assigned shift and must demonstrate strong leadership, sound judgment, reliability, and attention to detail.

What You Can Expect:

• Providing direction and support to on-duty security officers.

Basic Requirements:

• Must have great attention to detail and remain vigilant throughout shift.
