Job summary

Compass Connections is seeking a Lead Security Monitor to oversee on-site safety operations at our San Antonio facility. You will supervise surveillance systems, enforce access protocols, and coordinate with staff to respond to incidents involving unaccompanied children and clients in care.

The role requires strong observation, confidentiality, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed. Prior experience in security or protective services is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate degree preferred.
• Experience with surveillance and access-control systems is a plus.
• Ability to work in fast-paced environment and maintain composure.
• Pass pre-employment drug screen and background checks.
• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Relay any concern to Program Director and Assistant Program Director(s) that might represent a danger to unaccompanied children and staff.2. Provide technical support to program administration when reviewing and following up with program-level incidents that pose a safety risk to clients in care.3. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards that are applicable to this position.4. Participate in scheduled meetings and team decisions and operations.5. Work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by supervisor.6. Implement Compass Connections safety protocols including evacuating with children and other staff in case of an emergency.7. Maintain confidentiality in all areas of the service population and program operations.8. Maintain Compass Connections professional and ethical standards of conduct outlined in Compass Connections employee handbook including demonstrating respect for agency staff, children, and community members and complying with required dress code at all times.**Other Responsibilities:**1. Ensures surveillance equipment and other equipment is operational.2. Ensures all records and logs are maintained in accordance with policies.3. Coordinates and oversees compliance of facility access protocols and collaborates with security subcontractors to ensure the security of entire facility (to include monitoring through surveillance and in person).4.
