Job summary

Maven Clinic seeks a senior security leader to own the Incident Detection and Response program, guiding threat modeling and investigation direction. You’ll work with an AppSec and an infra engineer to identify bugs before incidents, manage AI risk, and drive fixes across code and processes.

You will read production code, shape detection criteria, and improve logging and visibility to strengthen our security posture while balancing fast, reliable software delivery.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of security experience combining hands-on software or AppSec depth with detection and SIEM engineering ownership.

Responsibilities

• Lead investigations hands-on, pull logs, build narrative, advise on next steps.
• Read production code to understand actual behavior.
• Hunt for bugs in codebase and SDLC weaknesses, propose or manage fixes.
• Own and tune detection logic, validate investigations and escalate appropriately.
