Job summary

Prudential Financial in Newark, NJ is seeking a Lead, Information Security Library & Standards to build and govern a scalable control library that supports governance, risk, and compliance across the enterprise.

Reporting to the Director of Information Security Governance, you will partner with risk and security leaders to map controls, align with frameworks such as NIST and ISO 27001, and drive audit-ready processes with a practical, collaborative approach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in cybersecurity or related field.
• Experience building or maintaining security governance, control frameworks, or risk programs.
• Strong understanding of frameworks such as NIST, ISO 27001, FFIEC, NYDFS, SOC.
• Working knowledge of IAM, Cloud Security, Data Protection, Vulnerability Management or related domains.

Responsibilities

• Lead development and governance of Prudential's Information Security control library.
• Define taxonomy, ownership models, framework mappings, evidence requirements, and narratives.
• Establish traceability across standards, controls, risks, tests, and reporting.
• Collaborate with IAM, ASM, CDR, cloud security, data protection, and other control functions.
