Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Lead Security Engineer (Kubernetes) to direct the security architecture for our containerized cloud environments and drive compliance across multi-cluster systems. You will mentor engineers and shape secure infrastructure designs.

Responsibilities include defining security strategy, implementing controls for Kubernetes and IaC, and automating verification within the deployment lifecycle. This role is 100% remote with competitive USD compensation.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Security Engineering, Cloud Security, or a related field.
• Proven expertise in Kubernetes security and Infrastructure as Code using Terraform or Helm.
• Solid experience with AWS, EKS, and CI/CD automation tools like GitLab, Jenkins, or GitHub Actions.
• Experience leading security accreditation architecture, mentoring engineers, and driving compliance.
• Advanced proficiency in English.
