Job summary

Iceberg is seeking a hands-on Security Engineer to become the first dedicated security hire in Europe or the US. You will own security across cloud, endpoints, identity and collaboration environments, and help shape security strategy as the company scales.

You will work closely with IT and engineering, drive security controls, respond to incidents, and evaluate new technologies to add real value to the business. This role offers significant autonomy and impact.

Qualifications

• Hands-on security engineer experienced across security engineering, IAM, SOC, detection and response.
• Proven ability to identify weaknesses and implement security improvements.
• Comfortable building and maturing security processes and standards.

Responsibilities

• Improve security across cloud, endpoint, identity and collaboration environments.
• Manage, tune and improve existing security controls.
• Investigate and respond to security alerts and incidents.
• Identify weaknesses and implement improvements.
• Support introduction of new security technologies.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to raise security posture.
• Develop security processes, standards and best practices.
• Assess emerging technologies and determine value for the business.
