Job summary

Suno in San Francisco is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to set the security direction for our product and infrastructure. This is a hands-on role where you will code and operate in the cloud, while shaping the team around you.

You will own security architecture and roadmap, elevate AppSec practices, drive cloud security, and lead incident response. You will also mentor the security team in a fast-growing AI-powered entertainment company.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in security engineering
• Deep expertise in at least two areas (AppSec, cloud/infrastructure security, IR) with credibility in the third
• Strong cross-functional partnership skills

Responsibilities

• Own security architecture and the roadmap across product and cloud environments
• Elevate AppSec: secure SDLC, code-review guardrails, manage dependencies and secrets, pre-production testing
• Drive cloud security: IAM, least privilege, network boundaries, data access controls
• Lead incident response and participate in on‑call rotations as senior responder
• Mentor and shape the security team and its processes
