Job summary

Ringside Talent Acquisition Partners is seeking a Lead Security Engineer to guide security initiatives and strengthen the organization’s security posture. This onsite role is based in Cleveland, OH and offers opportunities to shape security architecture and incident response capabilities.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of security engineering experience, strong knowledge of network and endpoint security, and certifications such as CISSP, CEH, or GSEC.

Qualifications

• 6+ years in security engineering with prior lead/senior experience.
• Strong knowledge of network security, endpoints, and threat detection tools.
• Experience with SIEM platforms and incident response processes.
• Certifications (e.g., CISSP, CEH, GSEC) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead design, implementation, and maintenance of security tools and infrastructure.
• Monitor systems and networks for security threats, vulnerabilities, and incidents.
• Lead incident response, including investigation, containment, and remediation.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments and penetration testing.
• Develop and enforce security policies, standards, and best practices.
• Mentor junior security engineers and provide technical guidance.
• Collaborate with IT and engineering teams to embed security into system design.
• Stay current on emerging threats and evolving security technologies.
• Support compliance efforts related to relevant security frameworks and regulations.
