Job summary
Hamilton Barnes Associates Limited in Wisconsin is seeking a highly technical Security Commissioning Engineer based in Port Washington to lead enterprise access control and video management system commissioning.
You will own programming, startup activities and turnover, mentoring technicians, and coordinating with project teams to keep schedules while solving complex technical issues. Relocation assistance and travel coverage are available for exceptional candidates.
Qualifications
- 7+ years' experience programming, commissioning or troubleshooting enterprise security systems.
- Ability to lead technical execution with minimal oversight.
- Experience with enterprise access control platforms (LenelS2 OnGuard desirable).
- Familiarity with Genetec, CCURE, Milestone, Avigilon, AMAG, or similar systems.
Responsibilities
- Lead programming, commissioning and startup for enterprise access control and video systems.
- Serve as technical lead to ensure efficient commissioning.
- Support technicians with troubleshooting and issue resolution.
- Review drawings, specs and device lists to spot gaps before commissioning.
- Coordinate testing and customer acceptance activities.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, networking and integration issues.
- Document commissioning records, logs and turnover packages.
- Work with project managers and field teams to stay on schedule.
- Mentor technicians and junior engineers in standards and best practices.
