You will assess designs against security and compliance requirements, translate requirements into technical guardrails, and support audits with the company’s common control framework. Join a team partnering with engineering, product, and security to improve security posture and to automate controls using AI.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and at least 8 years of relevant experience, or equivalent professional experience.
• Extensive experience assessing security in cloud systems, Internet technologies, infrastructure, applications, and data governance.
• Expertise in PCI DSS requirements, control assessment, and audit support.
• Experience designing security architectures and control frameworks for distributed systems.

Responsibilities

• Assessing cloud, network, infrastructure, and application designs against security and compliance requirements.
• Translating requirements into technical specifications, security blueprints, and engineering guardrails.
• Supporting compliance programs, control assessments, and audits using Akamai's common control framework
• Working with engineering and InfoSec to investigate security risks and define remediation
• Improving adoption and monitoring of security controls through AI and automation
