Job summary

Erickson Senior Living's Eagle’s Trace in West Houston, Texas, seeks a Lead Security and Emergency Services Officer to oversee safety operations from 7am to 7pm. Compensation begins at $17 per hour, with benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401(k) with match, onsite clinics, and dining discounts.

You will mentor staff, participate in QAPI activities, conduct patrols, perform safety inspections, operate company vehicles, respond to medical emergencies, and support resident relations

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Current and valid driver’s license
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) CPR certification
• Current Emergency Medical Responder certification
• HSI Level 3 Instructor Certification required or to be obtained within 6 months

Responsibilities

• Train, mentor and coach employees
• Participate in QAPI activities for improved resident care and safety
• Engage in routine interior and exterior patrols of buildings and grounds
• Conduct safety checks and inspections supporting Life Safety and OSHA compliance
• Operate company vehicles per policies and laws
• Respond to medical emergencies and provide prompt, efficient care
• Practice positive resident relations and address resident/family inquiries

Compensation: Commensurate with experience, starting at $17 / hr

Schedule: 7am-7pm

How you will make an impact
