Job summary

Occam Solutions, Inc. seeks a DevSecOps Engineer to lead the design, implementation, and sustainment of the ONR Data & Analytics cloud environment.

You will architect secure cloud infrastructure, automate deployment pipelines, and ensure DoD cybersecurity compliance. You will collaborate with software developers, data engineers, cloud architects, cybersecurity personnel, and government stakeholders to deliver scalable, resilient cloud services and implement CI/CD, IaC, container orchestration,

Qualifications

• Seven years of DevSecOps/DevOps/SecOps/MLOps experience.
• Five years designing and securing cloud environments (AWS GovCloud or similar).
• Experience with FedRAMP High and DoD IL5 compliance.
• Two or more projects with CI/CD pipelines using Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift or similar container platforms.
• IaC using Terraform, Ansible, CloudFormation.
• WAF/IDS/IPS/SIEM and cloud security monitoring knowledge.
• IAM, encryption, secrets management, and Zero Trust implementation.

Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, automate, and maintain secure cloud infrastructure.
• Develop and manage automated CI/CD pipelines.
• Build IaC with Terraform/Ansible/CloudFormation.
• Manage containerized environments with Docker/Kubernetes/OpenShift.
• Configure cloud security services (WAF, IDS/IPS, SIEM).
• Analyze security logs and incidents; support remediation.
• Support DoD FedRAMP IL5/ATO compliance and documentation.
• Implement IAM, encryption, and least-privilege access.
• Develop monitoring dashboards for reliability and performance.
• Assist AI/ML platform deployment and integration.
• Collaborate with developers, data engineers, and gov stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with DoD cybersecurity policies.
