Job summary

The Matlen Silver Group, Inc. is seeking a Lead SDET to join a newly formed team in Roseland, NJ. The role is onsite 3 days per week with 2 days remote, focusing on launching a new product/platform and replacing an existing system.

The candidate will lead test automation efforts using Playwright, JavaScript, and related tools, with emphasis on quality, security testing, and scalable pipelines. This is a 6+ month engagement with potential extensions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience developing Test Frameworks.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience with microservices and service oriented architectures.
• Experience with CD/DevOps and automation tooling.
• Experience with Jenkins, Playwright, JavaScript, SQL, Bash and Unix.
• Security testing, pen testing, and test automation for ecommerce/financial software.

Job Title: Lead SDET

Location: Roseland, NJ (onsite 3 days/wk, 2 days remote)

Pay: $65-70/hr W2 only due to client requirements

Duration: 6+ months with additional contract extensions

The Lead SDET will join a newly formed team that will be launching a new product / platform.The team is continuing to develop and integrate the new platform as the company works toward replacing an existing product.
