Job summary

Matlen Silver is seeking a Lead SDET to join a newly formed team in Roseland, NJ. The role focuses on launching a new product/platform, replacing legacy systems, and ensuring quality across development, integration, and scaling efforts.

The candidate will lead test automation and collaborate with cross-functional teams. The stack includes Playwright, JavaScript, Jenkins, SQL, Bash, Unix/Linux, and CI/CD practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years experience developing Test Frameworks.
• Previous experience as a Software Developer.
• Experience with microservices and service oriented architectures.
• Experience with Continuous Deployment, Continuous Delivery and Devops.
• Experience with Jenkins, Playwright, Javascript, SQL, Bash and Unix.
• Experience in Security testing, Pen Testing, and general test automation of e-commerce and financial software.
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.

Job Title: Lead SDET

Location: Roseland, NJ (onsite 3 days/wk, 2 days remote)

Pay: $65-70/hr W2 only due to client requirements

Duration: 6+ months with additional contract extensions

Job Details

The Lead SDET will join a newly formed team that will be launching a new product / platform. The team is continuing to develop and integrate the new platform as the company works toward replacing an existing product.
