Amazon’s AWS Infrastructure Services seeks a Senior Software Development Engineer to shape a greenfield security product using AI and secure design patterns. As a lead, you will mentor teammates and drive end-to-end delivery, from design to deployment, ensuring high-quality results for AWS customers.

You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across AWS to implement features, apply advanced security techniques, and scale services globally in a fast-paced cloud environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of non-internship professional software development experience.
• 5+ years of programming with at least one software programming language experience.
• 5+ years of leading design or architecture of new and existing systems.
• Experience as a mentor, tech lead or leading an engineering team.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement key features of the security management system using Rust and/or Java.
• Lead and influence teams of developers to deliver global, highly available, and scalable services.
• Apply advanced security techniques to enhance the system's defenses.
