Job summary

Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation seeks a Scientist / Lead, Translational Data Platforms to lead the MMRF Virtual Lab, a cloud-native translational research platform accelerating discoveries for the myeloma community.

The role blends computational biology, cancer genomics, and product leadership to translate scientific priorities into scalable platform capabilities, collaborating with engineers, clinicians, and researchers to advance multi-omic analyses.

Qualifications

• PhD in a quantitative field with demonstrated computational biology experience.
• Experience analyzing large-scale cancer genomics datasets (gene expression, DNA abnormalities, scRNAseq).
• Strong publication record and experience leading multidisciplinary initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Serve as scientific product owner for the MMRF Virtual Lab and liaison for users.
• Define and execute the platform roadmap with scientific leadership.
• Translate priorities into technical requirements and product specs.
• Coordinate feature planning, testing, and release management.
• Drive platform evolution through stakeholder engagement.
