Job summary

Quantum-Si is seeking a Principal Scientist (Associate Director) to lead reagent product development for its protein sequencing platform, owning technical strategy and cross-functional delivery of an integrated reagent system. You will manage a team of workstream owners, collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Systems Integration, and Marketing, and guide PDP stages from feasibility to transfer to manufacturing.

This leadership role combines scientific excellence with program execution.

Qualifications

• PhD in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Molecular Biology, Bioengineering, or related field.
• 12+ years in industry with 8+ years in product development and reagent/assay leadership.
• Proven PDP leadership including design verification, validation, transfer to manufacturing.
• Experience leading managers or senior ICs across workstreams.

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end product development for integrated reagent kit.
• Drive optimization of protein-based reagents with platform subsystems.
• Mentor scientists, manage workstreams, ensure milestone delivery.
• Represent reagent function on platform core team and align with stakeholders.
