MSD is seeking a hands-on technical leader for the Device Product and Process Development team in Rahway, NJ. You will interrogate delivery device platforms, use advanced analytical methods, and drive functional improvements while collaborating across functional areas.

The role emphasizes leadership in risk assessment, device performance, and development of novel delivery technologies within a regulated biopharmaceutical environment. Strong communication skills are essential.

Qualifikationen

• Ph.D. with 8+ years of industry experience in Mechanical Engineering, Biomedical Engineering, or an equivalent field is required.
• Proven record of scientific accomplishments in combination product development with a strong publication/presentation track record.
• Fluency in structural finite element analysis (FEA).
• Expertise with mechanical testing and imaging equipment, including x-ray CT, rheometry, microscopy.

• Lead device characterization and design improvements across drug delivery platforms.
• Interrogate device technology to identify risks and opportunities for improvement.
• Collaborate cross-functionally to support CMC timelines and project milestones.
• Develop and manage external vendor/partner collaborations for tech transfer.
