Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED acceptable.
• Experience in fast-paced manufacturing with safety mindset.
• Able to pass forklift operation tests (hi-lo).
• 2–3+ years of plastic injection molding and mold changeovers.
• Understanding of thermoplastics, tooling safety, and processing.
• Ability to read blueprints and setup sheets.
• IATF-related production and quality controls familiarity a plus.

Responsibilities

• Keep presses running by monitoring trends and preventing downtime.
• Lead complete changeovers: install and align molds, connect utilities.
• Verify parts via first-article and in-process checks using calipers and gauges.
• Record parameters precisely using setup sheets and logs.
• Tune temperatures, pressures, cycle times, and drying for consistency.
• Address alarms and process upsets with quick corrective action.
• Aim to reduce scrap and nonconformance through corrective actions.
• Collaborate with maintenance to identify and resolve issues.
