Job summary

Horizon Montessori Public Schools Harlingen Kitchen in Harlingen, TX is seeking a Lead Child Nutrition Worker to oversee campus nutrition operations and ensure food is prepared and served in compliance with safety standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Certified Food Manager (CFM) preferred.
• One-year clerical experience in food service operations preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead cafeteria operations on campus and supervise campus nutrition workers.
• Ensure menu specifications are followed and food is prepared and served safely.
• Manage intake of school lunch applications and data entry of eligibility.
• Maintain inventory and sanitation standards across kitchen and serving areas.
