Job summary

The role requires high school completion and at least one year of custodial experience, with a valid California driver’s license. Salary ranges from $3,671 to $4,689 per month, with prorated pay based on start date and experience.

Qualifications

• Graduation from high school or its equivalent.
• One year or more of recent experience in custodial or maintenance work, preferably in a public school.
• Knowledge of safe and effective use of cleaning materials and equipment; floor maintenance and sanitation.
• Ability to prioritize tasks; lead and direct others; use power equipment; lift/move heavy supplies; read and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain school facilities.
• Set up and break down facilities such as gym, cafeteria, and theater.
• Make minor repairs and adjust building hardware and equipment.
• Open and secure facilities as required.
• Lead and direct custodians assigned to site.
• Check fire extinguishers periodically.
• Receive, check, and deliver school supplies.
• Order, maintain, and inventory custodial tools and supplies.
• Generate work orders for maintenance repairs.
• Replace bulbs and reset breakers.
