Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and complete required WCPSS trainings after employment. You must be able to lift up to 50 pounds, work in a school environment, and respond to after-hour emergencies.

Qualifications

• Strong communication, both written and oral, to coordinate with staff and students.
• Experience using custodial equipment safely and effectively.
• Willingness to complete required trainings provided by WCPSS.

Responsabilités

• Sanitize, clean, and maintain the school/facility (floors, restrooms, waste, windows, lockers).
• Move and arrange furniture as needed.
• Perform minor/preventative maintenance on custodial equipment and report repairs or safety concerns.
• Open/secure buildings at start/end of workdays; manage lights per schedule.
• Maintain consistent attendance, respond to after-hours emergencies, and support related duties.
