Rochester Public Schools seeks a full-time Facilities Associate to perform cleaning and maintenance tasks across district facilities. The role requires adherence to safety guidelines, ability to lift heavy items, and operation of cleaning equipment, under supervision of the Facilities Manager and Assistant Facilities Manager.

The position emphasizes dependable teamwork, excellent customer service, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.

Qualifications

• Must be able to work with minimal supervision.
• Experience and knowledge of cleaning methods and equipment.
• Able and willing to remove snow when required during day and night or on weekends.
• Willingness to learn and share new and better methods of cleaning with supervisors.

Responsabilités

• Mopping, washing tables, windows, bathrooms, dusting, waxing, stripping floors, moving heavy furniture, etc.
• Moves up to 50 pounds of project materials and/or tools to remote building locations.
• Stands on ladders, and platform lifts, at heights up to 30 feet for extended periods of time.
• Performs essential maintenance to the facility or equipment which may involve twisting, bending and working in confined spaces.
• Works under the supervision of the Facilities Manager and senior staff.
• Performs other duties within the level of responsibility assigned by the manager.
