Responsibilities

• Serve breakfasts and lunches meeting federal, state and district requirements.
• Oversee food service activities at satellite locations and heat as needed.
• Order foods and supplies and supervise food service personnel.
• Monitor inventory, control costs, and maintain proper storage and handling.
• Maintain production, payroll and attendance records per regulations.
• Ensure sanitation, safety, production, service and food quality standards.
• Communicate effectively with students, staff, parents and colleagues.
• Inspect equipment and coordinate repairs or replacements.
• Support integration of the program into the educational setting.
• Assist in monitoring site performance and developing improvements.
• May cover other buildings and perform other duties as assigned.
