Qualifications

• Prior experience overseeing daily cafe operations, supporting staff, and ensuring food quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Oversees, monitors and participates in the preparation and service of food and beverage items while adhering to company standards for presentation, sanitation and safety; ensures portion control.
• Expedites workflow to ensure efficient meal service to all service areas.
• Directs sanitation and safety of the facility and associates in accordance with company standards and regulations.
• Oversees productivity and breaks of associates; communicates performance issues to management.
• Helps onboard and train associates; may conduct pre-service meetings.
• Handles cash; completes daily, weekly and monthly reports, including inventory and production records.
• Responds to customer needs and resolves concerns.
• Assists in menu planning and ordering using company programs.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
